While initial sources said Cardi’s knot came from an accidental elbow to the face by security- in their attempt to de-escalate the altercation- Minaj said it was all because of her friend, Rah, who she claimed beat Cardi “bad.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As the episode continued, Minaj went on to condemn Cardi’s sister for accusing her and her team of leaking Cardi’s number, among other things, including stopping bags. But, hours later, Cardi took to Instagram to respond to Minaj’s claims with receipts and called the self-proclaimed Barbie out for her lies. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Although, in the end, the two agreed to move on from the nonsense, the residual effects of the longstanding rift between the two has left others with an ultimatum: Nicki Minaj or Cardi B. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ For Yachty, although he has no issue with either party, his loyalty lies with Cardi.
