Yo SEATTLE!!!! On February 7th 2020 at the Northwest African American museum Come out and support the cause and culture of excellence!!!! Two-time James Beard Award winning Chef, Edouardo Jordan is partnering with James Beard Award winning author and historian Toni Tipton-Martin and the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle to celebrate Black History Month and Urban League’s 90th Anniversary with the 1st ever Soul of Seattle! We are looking to raise $200,000 to benefit organizations that empower black youth in Seattle. At the end of the event, we will offer this donation as a surprise to a very special selected organization. We need your generous support in order to bring this celebration to life. Can we count on you? With the constantly changing scene of Seattle culinary and beverage industries, it can be difficult to keep up. The Soul of Seattle will feature a variety of local chefs and beverage professionals of color who will each present tastes from their background. #soulofseattle #blackhistorymonth #blackhistory #blackchefs #africatown #jerkshack #junebaby #thatbrowngirlcooks #jerkshackseattle #foodwithmelanin
