The 21-year-old says that when she was 19, R. Kelly unknowingly recorded their sexual acts and gave her a sexually transmitted disease. She later filed a lawsuit against him. Faith says that since appearing in the release of the Lifetime series, “Surviving R. Kelly” this time last year, she has endured several verbal and physical attacks. She added that his 2019 arrests haven’t made things easier. “[R. Kelly’s arrest is] never going to stop the backlash. If anything, it’s kind of worse since he’s in jail. It’s a whole bunch of angry fans, so it really hasn’t gotten any better.
