We made it home yesterday, thank goodness! Ray is doing really well. We both crashed hard and slept for like twelve hours last night. He is managing getting around pretty well, even on the stairs. Unfortunately being home that means that life had to restart for us. For Ray, that meant working from home a bit this morning and then breaking out his fancypants walker and visiting the outpatient infusion center for his IV steroids. For me, that meant visiting the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles for some sheeny shiny new handicap placards, because walking any kind of distance when you can't feel your feet probably isn't a great choice. I must admit, I never thought that Ray would be the reason that we need these. I just always assumed that it would be me in five or ten years! 😂 #multiplesclerosis #ohiobmv #80yearoldina35yearoldbody
