It’s never “just twitter.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The incident happened Wednesday afternoon when #SydelCurry, #StephenCurry’s sister, tweeted “Wheels up to Cleveland w/ Mama and Granny.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A Twitter user by the name of SoftCaramelKiss then replied to the tweet with “You and your whole family get the f*ck out of Cleveland and take Riley’s f*ggot a** with you.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It didn’t take long before Sydel got into protective auntie mode with the troll who was obviously doing the most to get her attention. “Nah, you wanna be all big and bold talking about a 3 year old, I have words…” she tweeted. “You’re talking about my niece, blood, an innocent 3 year old. I let it go the 1st time.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Twitter users caught wind of the back and forth between Sydel and the Twitter Troll and took it upon themselves to find out his place of employment, Holton Wise Property Group. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Yes, someone who works for a Real Estate Agency spends their free time on social media trolling kids. I can’t make this up. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ After getting a few angry tweets thrown their way, Holton Wise issued an apology and notified the public that the Twitter Troll had been fired. "Our apologies to all who were a party to this attack @HoltonWise does not condone this & we have terminated this apprentice” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ They went on to say, "We expect our employees to conduct themselves in a professional manor at all times Zero tolerance towards Hate speech” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here’s the thing about employment, folks. Anything you do, that makes your employer look bad, can get you fired. That means, if you want to be a total d*ckhead on the internet, have at it, just don’t mention your employer, have your work clothes, work badge or anything indicating your place of employment ANYWHERE on your profile. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
